  8. easy picking on the helpless ain't the Neocon way.

How do you call the war on afghanistan, then?

  9. I don't think there is much doubt that the afghan army was no match for the US troops...

  10. Why don't you try picking from them?
    non-sequitur alert?

  11. that the taliban and al qaeda was defeated means they were helpless? Tell that to the Soviets.

  12. Pepe hoped :"Why don't you try picking from them?
    non-sequitur alert?"

Nope. It is pointing out that if you think they are helpless, and hence easy to pick, then why don't you give it a go and see for yourself? Put your claim to the test, and all that.
But then you are not alert to sequiturs.

  13. Helplessness is relative, aa. That the taleban were militarily helpless compared to the US army is not only obvious, it has been proved by facts.

  14. You're contradicting your own agreement with Baudrillard, Pepe.

    ReplyDelete
  15. You and Baudrillard say that the Taliban and Saddam have won. How could they win against and be helpless against an opponent at the same time?

  16. Pepe, you say that the Yanks should stop picking on the "helpless". But this "helpless" label could only be applied after the US had proven it could easily defeat the Taleban. And this "helpless" label could only be applied relative to the US insofar as the Taleban had proved far from helpless against all others. So, in short, Pepe is saying the US should stop picking on the Taleban? Not satisfied with memories of being a shill for Saddam the D of PP now wishes to embrace his Omar? Red Queen Rulz.
