Captain Sam Cook (West Point graduate and younger brother to a mutual friend of AA and MFT) has a blog for his C Troop, 1st Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment (I believe that was Patton's outfit, too).
So far as I know, upon his return from this upcoming tour in Iraq (his 4th or 5th I believe), Sam plans on pursuing his Ph.D in history, perhaps at AI's alma matter. Just passing along the blog. Here's to C Troop (thanks for the excuse to raise yet another pint, Sam).
