I have the bracelet

Did you guys catch how Obama had to look up in his notes the name of the soldier? The whole thing was canned. And, at the end, Jean-Francois Kerry was milling about, looking for his hat. REGURGE FOR UPDATE.

  1. He's right! Btw, how come Obama kept calling McCain "John", whereas McCain would call him "Senator Obama"?

  3. This debate symbolism thing is getting downright literary.

  4. AFTER REGURGE: If this is true, jeez, this guy's a douchebag above and beyond what I thought.

  5. Good catch, JJ. If the parents of the soldier whose bracelet John McCain is wearing had said in public that they want him to stop wearing their son's bracelet the news would have been coast to coast, and wall to wall, not just ignored in Madison, Wisconsin. You can bet $700 billion on that.

  6. It's on Drudge now, so someone will pick this up. I am afraid the story will fall apart though Drudge is very reliable.

  7. Pepe, agreed, sort of. But then why did he say he had a bracelet too?

  9. Barack had to have ammo for a deuce in case mac tried to score a cheap i-feel-for-my-fallen-fellow-soldier point. Snuffed the bullshit right out of him.

If the family behind Obama's bracelet doesn't want that cunt showing it off, then it's not quite the same kind of ammo as McCain's, now is it?

Kinda like Obama saying Kissinger says [...], McCain says, "no he doesn't," then Kissinger says Obama is wrong.

We can adore or detest Kissinger, but Obama is full of shit. About foreign policy when it comes to Kissinger and about human decency when it comes to honoring the dead.

Should we go on to the first amendment and Obama's truth squads in Missouri?

  14. calling on kissinger for foreign policy is kind of like referring to mengele for an MD.

  15. I am with you on Kissinger, Pepe, and I am on the right. So why did Obama want to kneel before that SOB and given that he did, why did he get it wrong? Apparently it's because he's a dickhead.

    That's all.

  17. look all i am saying is now is not the time to say what you think, it's time to say what people want to hear. If Obama's marketing team thinks it'll be perceived as statesmanlike to show deference to that wacko during a foreign policy debate, that's what he needs to do.
In reality I'd bet he wouldn't mind sending the dickhead to the hague where he belongs.
