Enemy of the people

Wow. The pinkos have almost got me liking that fat asshole Limbaugh. It's an interesting tactic that reeks of Tecs (in reverse). So McCain repudiated Limbaugh and by now "sucking up to the Dems" he has isolated the far right, pulling the center to Pres БХО. Or, they're overplaying their hand (the Limbaugh quote is out of context) and are going to piss off moderates (what I think). My feeling is that the moderate right has already forgotten about McCain and thinks Limbaugh is a better standard-bearer even if a giant rectal cancer on the body politic.

  1. Standard pinko operating procedure. But the chutzpah is of cosmic proportions, even by the usual standards. At least Beria would just send those dastardly Enemies of the People to the basement of Lubyanka, nice and clean. Why bother with all the Triumph-of-the-Will -type propaganda?

  2. Grace in victory is just good tactics. Seems that the hubris is too much.

CNN is reporting now that Banana's first 10 days have been a neat balancing act.

    Really?

  3. Didn't think I'd ever say that but I'm with Rush. WTF are these idiots thinking? Ditto, man.

  4. What do you mean, Pepe?

  5. Yup. The possible layers of irony in Pepe's statement are unbounded. Better leave it to him to explain than attempt a surmise.

  6. Is Pepe going the bleeding-heart, Alan Alda route? C'mon, Pepe, be a real pinko mensch, and bray for Rush's head.

  7. Pepe ain't about the Alan Alda route. Too much Barbra Streisand and not enough Kayla.
This Ironie Bomb we'd better just settle by a remote detonation. Or let the builder deconstruct it.

  8. That's the welcoming, Christian attitude that brings people to the right way, Tecs and AA.

Pepe unclenches his hole and you poke him in it.

  9. I poked nothing. I just advised Tecumseh that we should let Pepe explain it. With a rich history of irony masquerading at not, and not masquerading as irony, the wisest course is to let Pepe explain it for himself.
Unless you wish to do it for him, ya poke.

  10. Igor would poke in prison.

  11. Now we have to deconstruct this new statement. The ways of irony are ironically difficult.
I may need to brush up on the classic texts of Ironology, to have up with the writ of Le Grande Le Pew. Even then, who can be sure in this most ironic of worlds?

  12. Pepe, I think you're not right. The Dems are preemptively going after the only visible point of cohesion in the old Rep coalition in order to break everything up on the right for a while.

Limbaugh said something too easily taken out of context and so the Dems found an opening to isolate him among people on the right.

They give plenty of shit about Limbaugh because they will be going full socialist hog and Limbaugh and a few others are the only bulwark against that.

  13. The Limbaugh-FCP Alliance? The world has gone mad.

Ok, ok, so it was always mad.

    The world has gone madder.

  14. Tecs has always had a soft spot in his heart for Limbaugh.

  15. Sure, but Le Pew and Der Rotter? Time to join the redcoats in singing "The World Turned Upside Down".

  16. Juan Williams (of all people) joins the pinko shit list. Who'll be next?

  17. Juan Williams must be a Splittist.
