Rot, seriously, there's something very novelistically Gary Shteyngart (in that sort of tragicomic way) about this story. More specifically: this Iranian president sounds like a character out of Shteyngart's novels.
Kind of a stretch, but hey, why not. Me personally, I find that jacket Ahmadinejad is wearing nerdy, and sort of Russian (circa 1954) looking.
