First, I think both those Mainers got better lately -- in fact, not worse than McCain, and with less of his bumbling and hemming and hawing and mavericky tired act. And second, I dunno for sure, but I doubt Scotty will veer sharply to the left (the way Mac did back in 2001--2002). Just a hunch.
