A British commenter channels Herr Rot, sort of: It’s our fault Alex. We Europeans were extolling the virtues of the Messiah who walked on water, and told the Americans they would be dumb not to elect this Marxist Muslim nobody from the criminal Chicago Democrap sinkhole, and now you have buyer’s remorse? So does America, and you can bet they won’t do much more listening to the Euroweenies any time soon.
Are you stooping so low as to invoke the French as authority on a linguistic dispute between the English and the Spaniards? Of course they'll side with the Spaniards (or the Argentinians, whatever), just to spite la Perfide Albion. But, how about Isole Falkland? Or, Falklandinseln? Eh?
Where's that stiff upper lip? Must've left it on his roommate while Eton him.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the point of (gratuitously) antagonizing the Brits? To suck up to the Argentines? Why? But it's all making sense in Rotten Logik, of course.

ReplyDeleteUSA has no business there, you see.
Incidentally, Tecs, you ought to read up on why the islands are called the Malouines.
ReplyDeleteTo do justice to da Rotter's mind, they should be called The Malucoines.
ReplyDeleteAnd to do justice to yours, they should be claimed by Uzbekistan.
