Yes...they will try. Of course. But the point is that we need a candidate who will fight fire with fire, who will bring the campaign to Obama rather than be reactive and apologetic. The problem is not that Romney has baggage which makes him targetable by the MSM Pravda brigade, it is that he is callow and accomodationist and takes that targeting to heart. His record, as Governor and as many a time candidate, gives us exactly no hope in this regard. When once, in this campaign, in prior campaigns, did he show any consistent fire in his belly and willingness to unleash hell on the Dems? Fellow Repubs, sure, but the Dems??? Romney is our Candidate Putz.
Big guy, on the other hand, knows how to respond to BS. Jersey style: "Really?" Christie replied. "Something may go down tonight but it's not going to be jobs, sweetheart."

Yes, but what she's saying is a tautology: no matter who the GOP picks as a candidate, the Dem/MSM alliance will portray as Belzeebub/Goldstein. Duhh.

That's a valid concern. I don't know how to respond to it. Ask Romney.

Not in a million years would Romney say that.
We need the Jersey Guy, and we get the Bain Drain. Nanny Bloomberg musta decided on the entertainment for tonight.
You don't appreciate Cincinnatus laying down his PowerPoint?
Pat not happy.
Rubin not happy.
Of course Rubin is not happy that someone would dare criticize Romney. An attack on Romney is an attack on Capitalism?
This is truly pathetic stuff.
