Looked like Kinky. ...this also might be an eastern Montana Christmas too. That's what happens when too many European peasants settle in the Americas.

As a West Virginian born, and with the denture to prove my worthiness as a Son of Appalachia, I am deeply touched by this tribute of a Frenchman to the glories of our ways.
My cousins are even more touched, far more banjo touched, and they think the Frenchman git such a' purdy mouth. Come on down, Pepe, coz me cousins wanna show ya a proper appreshiashin.

i spent a few weeks on a farm near Martinsburgh (sp?)
many years ago. a wretched place that was and the crowd definitely filled the stereotype.

West Virginia, or Free Virginia to you Richmond Rebs, is Friend to Mountaineers and Foe to Ye Delta Dwellers. Yeah, sure, it's a blackened landscape peopled by gaunt miners hacking away their dwindling life's essence in tarry gobs of Black Lung.....But It's Home, Sweet Home.
