It's good to be the king

Life is a bitch. Not only does the driver gets hit by a moped (or whatever the French think a bike is), and has to fix the Beemer, he then has court costs, and on top of things, got to cough up 2,000 euros for disturbing the dauphin? Aahhh, the French.

On this day, Le Pew found a new respect for his President. It seemed that with the fall of Chirac mere peasants had been allowed to tread their muddy feet in Versailles. But Sarkozy has proved salvageable, a pearl extracted from the mud of the sty and, washed cleaned and polish-ed, worthy of any Aristo. Planet Pepe sleeps well tonight.

wherever did you hear that such privileges had been granted? unlike yours, our rubes know their place and wouldn't think of threading on hallowed ground.

That is why Sarkozy was at first so shocking...he seemed to be a Rube, perhaps even a secret Neocon, and Versailles wept at the impurity of his presence...
But now? They are all Aristos now.

You lie as needed to usurp power and abuse the peasants. How long since you felt a sense of shame?
