Dowd got the blues

“Not surprisingly, people are wary of some very expensive proposals with no guarantee of success or even a high probability of how well they’ll work.” You don't say. Mr. Obama’s egghead manner has failed to soothe a nation with the jits. Nahh -- you sure? Pepe is in hog heaven. So we're doin' great. He has not explained in a compelling way why Americans who followed the rules need to sacrifice more to help those who flouted the rules. All we need is better PR. Then this self-evident truth will simply sell itself.

In the middle of all the Heimlich maneuvers required now, we don’t need a Jackson/Sharpton-style lecture on race. Coward.

Tecs posts Dowd. Hmmm. Going native, buddy? Pepe is turning to the right and now you're willing to start parking in the handicapped spot, I guess.

Pepe is not "turning to the right". He's simply more establishmentarian, now that his pinko soul-mates control everything, and he no longer can blame W, all the time, for everything that's wrong under the sun (at least, not with a totally straight face, not that that would bother him).

In the same vein, Dowd is starting to make a bit more sense, now that she can't simply go into flights of BDS, all the time. Looks like she's actually a bit embarrassed by the whole schtick.

As for me, I'm always in a constant spot, like the Northern Star. You guys are simply spinning around, bobbing and weaving with this and that external impulse.

Northern Star, Tecs? I knew you had a thing for Sarah Palin, but why all the denial then?

All right, Polaris. What does this have to do with your sweetheart, Palin? Non sequitur, et omnia non sequitur.

Alaska is like, North.

A strained connection. In the context I used it, Northern Star refers to fixed point, not neighborhood of Alaska. Stop diggin', Mr Rot, or you'll get to China.
