In 2008, the World Economic Forum ranked Canada's banking system the healthiest in the world. America's ranked 40th, Britain's 44th.

Can't argue with dat, Mr. Rot. Next question.

Canadian banks are typically leveraged at 18 to 1—compared with U.S. banks at 26 to 1 and European banks at a frightening 61 to 1.

While Iceland was probably 300 to 1. However you slice it, this is not good, and it simply opens the door to nationalization of the banking system. So I'm with the Canucks on this one -- prudent lending practices are at the foundation of a sound economy.

So the brightest Chinese and Indian software engineers are attracted to the United States, trained by American universities, then thrown out of the country and picked up by Canada—where most of them will work, innovate and pay taxes for the rest of their lives.

And Mr Rot ululates?

Prove it. (Well, except his ode to the Canuck socialized health care system, which sucks big time.)

And the income tax rates. What Indian, knowing the disaster of the Indian Socialist experiment (Nehru and so on begin corrected by free market capitalism working there now, much better) would choos pinko Canada with 50% tax brackets?

It's just stupid. How about the docs? Here, a ton of doctors (which pay taxes, I imagine) are from India.

Why do you think they came here and didn't go to Commonwealth Canada, where it's easier to get in?

Duh.

Zak can't get it right by accident, Tecs. He is a dyed in the wool Harvard douche and doesn't know anything.
