More Scott Brown wisdom

Unexpectedly!
Obama got everyone on his side, Secs Def., Secs State,..., and > 70 senators, but it was clear that there would be a dispute about whether the preamble was the legally binding part. Of course Obama would say no when acting tough with RWNs while winking to the Russians (and hoping they'd keep quiet). Of course the Russians aren't playing ball anymore...
It's pathetic to see all those former Sec Defs applauding like fools at this one. They seem to have forgotten the Russian bargaining tenet: What's ours is ours; what's yours is negotiable. A revolting performance.
Offending parties.
A great victory for peace.

"In the final analysis, regardless of where you stand on the START treaty, this is one of those rare times in the United States Senate . . . when we have it in our power to safeguard or to endanger human life on this planet," Kerry said.

How do you say "fatuous orotundness" in French?
