An unwilling bride?

The Democrats, including Mr. Kerry, say that not only did Mr. McCain express interest but that it was his camp that initially reached out to them. Mr. McCain and his aides counter that in both cases the Democrats were the suitors and Mr. McCain the unwilling bride. Hmmmm... If you say so, JJ...

AI has gone so L-Ron that he believes Kerry over McCain now. Soon AI will be an Obamanos.

Get the jacket. He still has the jacket.

I'll cast a vote for McCain.

Me too. And I'll quit whining that he's not Genghis Khan.

I'll quote again, since JJ is so enamored with J McC that he cannot even read a complete sentence: "Mr. McCain and his aides counter that in both cases the Democrats were the suitors and Mr. McCain the unwilling bride." Now look at the title of the post, JJ. Do you notice something, or should I draw a commuting diagram?

“There were times when he rose to the occasion and showed himself to be a real pragmatist,” said Tom Daschle, the former Senate Democratic leader who was one of those who met with Mr. McCain in 2001 about switching parties and who is now supporting Senator Barack Obama. “There were other times when he was motivated by political goals and agendas that led him to be much more of a political ideologue.”

Such swings are common in politics, but for Mr. McCain, Mr. Daschle said, “those swings have been far more pronounced and far more frequent.”

Can't wait for the next swing.

AI quotes Daschle. He has the jacket.

So, everyone is lying, JJ? So OK, I don't trust Kerry, Edwards, Daschle, and co, but why would they (and a whole bunch of other people involved in this, over a period of several years) lie through their teeth, and only McCain tell the truth? Methinks the lady does protest too much. I smell a big, fat rat.
