Another angle as well is that the profs sure as hell aren't gonna pay throught the nose to hear someone they don't agree with. The Edwardses and Moores and Gores will line their pockets with taxpayers' and tuition-paying parents' money because they parrot the line the profs and administrators got fed while they were in intensive indoctrinations.
It must give them quite a frisson to think they're paying these schmucks to corrupt their kids with the honest bucks made by working stiffs that don't agree with them.

oh, unlike with vichy boy, free speech is just dandy. As is freedom to be played for a sucker by a pathetically coiffed conman. That said, free speech also allows for pointing out the flaming hypocrisy of speechifying on the horrors of poverty while bilking out the academic rubes of coinage by the ton.
But we won't try to shout down the grifter, nor stone him, nor rough up his supporters, nor tear down his posters, etc.... After all, we don't live on Planet Pepe
