Counter-revolutionary scumbag

May 68 was the movement that extirpated France from rigid social conservatism. After this, women were allowed to have checkbooks (ok that's a bad example but you see the point), to divorce (any day, now), and more generally it was the first time that people started thinking about questioning the authority of the state.
There is certainly nothing that contributed this much to making France a mature, irreverant democracy. Try and wiggle a french flag to gain political traction and watch the eggs and the tomatoes flying at you! Try and talk about using tax money to fund the spread of superstition in schools or anywhere in government! All this and so much more we are thankful to May 68 for.

Oh, that's fucking rich, "people started thinking about questioning the authority of the state".
Apparently they couldn't get past the starting to think stage. Except for Revel and a handful of others the French have all been about sucking the dick of the state. Led by the gang of cocksuckers of '68.
This France dying before our eyes, to become to what it was as Istanbul is to Constantinople, was crafted both by the State and by those faux revolutionaries whose only answer to the State was to envision a more comprehensive, more authoritarian, State. The only truly mature and irreverent democracy europe has ever known was that of Holland, and that is now far gone into its suicide.
There is absolutely no doubt that Pepe is thankful for May 68,
