Dia de Camões

So what are we supposed to do on the Portuguese national holiday? Recite out loud Os Lusíadas? Or is there something more fun to do?

Today is the day of the coming of the Hidden Camões. Hail and die all!

How about eating that famed Portuguese dish that is the epitome of both non-hallal and of cholesterol-induced heart attack? Something with shrimps and pork and stuff -- it sounds delicious, but I can never remember the name.

This? Go get some.

Close, but no cigar. Needs seafood combined with the pork to really give a heart attack to the hallals. Perhaps this?

Guys, your really talking about the same dish. Note that it is mixture of pork and clams, with paprika as a main spice.
If cooked right, it is absolutely delicious. If it is cooked as at the Atasca restaurant in Cambridge it is a lousy fraud which gravely insults Luis de Camoes, who as a young man lost an eye in combat with Pepe's homies in order that Portuguese would continue to be free to consume delicious viands and seafoods.
