Porchetta heaven

JJ raves about this Italian bbq, so here is a video of how it looks. Methinks it's best eaten when it's cold outside.

You're right about the cold weather. Porchetta is red wine fare and in hot weather I can't take either.

Fortunately it's damned cold in Rome these days. Sweaters in the morning and stay out of the breeze in the afternoons. That's why porchetta is even available at this time of year. Usually it is not around by the time I get here and I have to get my fill in Christmastime.

Thank God Al Gore is a fucking fraud.

Yeah, I heard. Hey, the porchetta you posted is from Pescara. You would have to be in Massachusetts to confuse the Adriatic with the Tyrrhenian sea.
