VDH in a Spenglerian Gloom

VDH summarizes quite accurately the pinko Party line in all its splendor, as pushed down to its most minute detail by Pepe, with less than 0.01 deviation. Just a detail:

Guantánamo was a virtual stalag, where far more innocents than terrorists were unjustly incarcerated. Given that this gulag served no useful purpose, it should be summarily shut down, and the unfairly detained suspects at last returned to their families back home.

I remind you that Jean-Francois Mac did much to provide a fig-leaf to the Left to make this position acceptable. Something I for one have not forgotten.
