The Wisconsin guy's looking at the WH...

Now you are too Whitehousecentric, on top of things. Methinks Walker just got elected, and is trying to do what he got to do (exactly what he promised to do if elected, that is). Which is plenty enough, and important enough. Unlike other govs who abandoned their posts in midstream...

Civility, the Pepe way.

Funny, you parrot the pinko line about Quitter Palin and then go on to bemoan a toothbrush mustache or two..

Why don't you add a VCP for cognitive dissonance?

You mean, Palin didn't quit her job as governor? Last I heard, Sean Parnell was Guv of Alaska. Am I missing something?

Mr roT said...

Yes. You seem to have missed the reason for her quitting.

Similarly, you seem to have missed a long time ago that Romney should have quit before he invented ObamaCare.

I still miss that reason. Especially when comparing to guvs such as Christie, Walker, McDonnell, Daniels, Perry, etc., who not only did not quit, but are actually doing something, as opposed to blogging (like us).

They aren't the targets of hate at the same level that Palin is. Their failies are never targeted. Their states are not deluged with frivolous lawsuits and FIOA requests all aimed at bringing the Gov down.

In short, those guys have political opponents while Palin is a public enemy.

That's important to the functioning of the state government in AK. The Alinsky doctrine is alive and well.

Think of the difference that AA sees between Palin and even guys like Christie and you'll see that she is that much juicier a target for the hard, and possibly violent left.

Allright, I don't dispute any of that. Still, the bottom line remains: fairly or unfairly (almost all, unfairly(, she's kind of burned out when it comes to public office. To get back in the game she'll need to do something concrete, like, getting again elected to a reasonable position. Say, senator?

I think Coulter has it better than that. Palin should just not run for office. She is more effective on the outside pissing in that on the inside pissing out (to quote LBJ).

Think of Al Franken. He disappeared! If he were not co-opted now, he'd be out on the Mall with clown shoes on protesting against Obama! But no, he's quiet and trying to keep a lid on it and waiting for the tidal wave that is coming to the Senate in a couple years.

He's out of power compared to Palin, and I prefer that arrangement, actually.

Palin should keep right what she's doing now. She has more power than any lousy Senator and doesn't have to go along to get along.

When the GOPers start wavering and wussing out she can zero in on them with a Facebook posting that really has a shitload of impact.

Cato wasn't prince, but he nailed it better than any of them.

Ceterum autem censeo, Carthaginem esse delendam? Hmmm... Haven't heard her say that.

Al Franken even less, but you're a big fan since he went to Harvard!

Powww!
