Where is the "RWNs pull for pinkos" label? I mean, duhhhhh...

Kraut harps on the theme: Gingrich’s obvious weakness is a history of flip-flops, zigzags and mind changes even more extensive than Romney’s — on climate change, the health-care mandate, cap-and-trade, Libya, the Ryan Medicare plan, etc.

Duhhh. And your grandma wears Army boots.

This is more serious, though:

But the independents and disaffected Democrats upon whom the general election will hinge will not be so forgiving. They will find it harder to overlook the fact that the man who denounces Freddie Mac to the point of suggesting that those in Congress who aided and abetted it be imprisoned, took $30,000 a month from that very same parasitic federal creation. Nor will independents be so willing to believe that more than $1.5 million was paid for Gingrich’s advice as “a historian” rather than for services as an influence peddler.

Just sayin'.

You play the hand you’re dealt. This is a weak Republican field with two significantly flawed front-runners contesting an immensely important election. If Obama wins, he will take the country to a place from which it will not be able to return (which is precisely his own objective for a second term).

Palau.

Of course, Mr Rot thinks Bill Buckley was a RINO, too. A implies ¬A. And vice-versa.

Hey, I don't like Gingrich, but I think he's better than Romney and [shudder] Obama.

Time for everyone to get on the boat and row to the right shore.

Nice link there, Dr Alz.

Pay up!

We care about Buckley while Will exists?

Buckley would be slobbering all over Mitt now...

Oops, sticky cut-and-paste. Here's the correct link.

As for George Will, he doesn't much like Gingrich, does he? I think he's pulling for Perry. Hey, how come you betrayed your man Perry? I see--your support was only paper-thin. Now that Sheriff Arpaio threw his lot with Perry, you turned on a dime, eh?

How's Gingrich "better" than Romney? He's more intelligent, sure -- but he's also insufferable. In terms of flips and flops, he's about as bad as Romney. (Eg, he even was for individual mandates before Romney, and then went a step further and supported a proto-version of the death panels.) Gingrich is the more experienced politician, with more accomplishments under his belt, that's for sure.

But he also has more baggage, kind of on the shady side -- all that wheeling and dealing and influence-peddling he did with Freddie Mac & Co is off-putting. Isn't this the type of "crony capitalism" that, eg, Palin was railing against at some point? You OK with that now?

Romney is lubricious. You know that.
