Tecumseh said...: How's Gingrich "better" than Romney? He's more intelligent, sure -- but he's also insufferable. In terms of flips and flops, he's about as bad as Romney. (Eg, he even was for individual mandates before Romney, and then went a step further and supported a proto-version of the death panels.) Gingrich is the more experienced politician, with more accomplishments under his belt, that's for sure.

But he also has more baggage, kind of on the shady side -- all that wheeling and dealing and influence-peddling he did with Freddie Mac & Co is off-putting. Isn't this the type of "crony capitalism" that, eg, Palin was railing against at some point? You OK with that now?; 12/02/2011 10:07 PM
