democracy around the corner

W is looking for a more compliant puppet to run his new democracy. Are the evangelists opposed to the cloning of karzai ?

Ew. I find myself agreeing with the troll. On the other hand, why do you say KarzaiKlone is unacceptable? Didn't he spring Jesus-Achmed yesterday?

Maybe you think Falwell wants Afghanistan for his own private fiefdom?

Lynchburg, indeed. Hang 'em, Spengler!

sending falwell to afghanistan is actually not a bad idea.

but back to the initial topic, this is actually an interesting test of the reality of the admin's commitment to democracy in iraq. the story is getting better too.

Yeh. Saw that. Not sure what to make of it.

What if this is a ploy to legitimize our boy by publicly disowning him. As Buck Turgidson would say,"I smell a big Commie rat, Mr President."

Let's not get too snooty about commitment to democracy, though, Pepe.

Democracy has to be able to exclude undemocratic elements even undemocratically as Popper reminds us.

In the interest of democracy we should have had Hitler meet with an untimely accident when he was at the height of his popularity.
