Not good. Of course, one should adjust the figures for relative population sizes and internet access, but still, even after taking that into account, the numbers are horrible. Something needs to be done.

Child pornography is the one area of vice-laws which is still vigorously enforced. Regularly we hear of prosecutions for this stuff...but the regularity is not at a pace that comes close to stopping this problem...
Where things particularly fail, IMO, is not as regards the existence of websites, but where and how the materials for these websites is being manufactured. From what I've read on this, most Yankee sources on this are "ma & pa" operations, often literally so. And most Euro or Asian or South American sources [have not heard of African ones] are due to crime cartels or even what are considered legitimate businesses in their own lands.
I suppose, in the end, the real problem lies in all those who find such stuff attractive...
