Et tu, Frute?

How long did it take you to come up with this label? I estimate at most a microsecond. Tops.

Do you mean the label or the post title? The label has proven its flexibility, generality, and applicability time and time again. It just struck me one fine day when I imagined you discussing the issues with Zareed Fockaria and Andrew Sullivan, Glenn Greenwald, etc.

The post title, I admit, is a smaller expression of my genius, but not without its charms as well. The traitorous Tinkerbell strikes the One with 'well-meaning' advice, out in public. The open letter that flits and slaps, then marches out in a huff, fruity-coiffed head held high. All the while, the betrayal is deep.

I must honestly give myself an A on the label and at least a B+ on the title. They didn't take long, you're right. But they were acts of substantial inspiration.

Thank you for giving me an opportunity to reflect on my genius. I know it is unappreciated by the knuckledragging readers of this blog, but reliving my brilliant thought processes is as fun as it is astounding and inspiring.

How long did it take you to come up with this label? I meant the label, of course -- more precisely, selecting the label from the available list, not inventing it, which indeed was a stroke of genius.

The title is quite good, too. OK, you got a good grade for that. But I maintain the label (the already available) was just too obvious for this post. I mean, duhhh...

I see your point. There is no real inspiration in referring to your fruity thinktank when the post is about a traitorous fruit in said thinktank.

But what to do then, Tecs? This way, both of my shining examples of brilliance are juxtaposed for a more concentrated experience of me.

It seems that to deny the reader of this would be cruel. Think of a gigantic tonic chord in the end of a section of a Bach masterpiece.

It's resolution and completion. Ending in a different harmony is less satisfying and less affirming.

Someone is a getting a bit 'unhinged' in their grandiosity ;)

Yes, Herr Rott, yes. Your labels and titles are up there with the Brandenburg concertos. Now, do you feel better? Has your ego taken a good trip?

True agents of change are constantly attacked by small-minded shitbags with no knowledge of harmony or geometry.

I believe that they end up giving comfort to those who prey on hate.,
