Broken record. C'mon, Herr Rot, you used to be sharper in your prime. Now you got this thing in your mind--McCarthy is a moron, whatever--and you don't even read anymore his carefully crafted columns. Methinks he's just hitting his stride, and just starting to throw his weight around at NRO, based on the sheer power of his logic. I like seeing that when it happens--which is not very often nowadays, given the parlous state of the press. You are completely missing the boat on this, due to some childish dislike for some opinion you didn't like at some point.
