Does H. stand for Hubris? It's possible that Obama forgets that he still needs to be elected because a competitive general election is totally unfamiliar to him. In Chicago, where the Republican Party barely exists, the winner of the Democratic primary automatically wins the general election. Ah, the joys of living in a one-Party state.
Huh? Who is shorter? And what's a "2-party state by one candidate"? Pepe, Pepe, you don't make much sense. Try Cartesian logic, for a change. Or some schnapps.
a one party state (presumably dems in chicago or republicans in dallas) is shorter than a 2-party state (the usa) by only one party. in other words, it is almost the same thing. it was a joke, ai. arguably not a very funny one, but nothing to be taken seriously.
"it's only shorter than a 2-party state by one candidate."
As political jokes go, this is not bad at all. Although to those of us who have spent substantial time in Chicago, this 100 Hundred Years of Party Solitude [now, AI, there is a very bad political joke] the point is to understand that the joke is/was on us.
