Hmm... I saw many Clint Eastwood movies (starting with those spaghetti westerns, which were just great!), but I think I missed this one (or slept through it?) OK, I gotta watch it, one of these days. Haven't been to a movie house, though, since JJ took me to see a movie from the front row, and I nearly wrecked my neck gawking at the screen.

Yes, I empathize with staying away from movie houses. I think you can pick up Josey Wales for about 10 bucks, maybe a little more, perhaps a little less, and watch it in the controlled comfort and environ of your own home.

I forced myself into seeing Indiana Jones 4, but realized 10 minutes after the movie started that I actually paid to see the spectacle that passes for a movie crowd in America: it's difficult to say which was crappier, the movie or the crowd. Do other Western countries "watch" movies the way middle Americans do? Fuck...

And I can't believe you let JJ talk you into seeing some gay porn in a movie house. Front row too you say?

* American movie houses suck, big time. People continually munch on things, drink from huge cups, talk, get out of their seats to pee, anything but watch the damn movie. And your feet get glued to the sticky floor. I basically stopped going to the talkies because of all this, circa 1985.

* JJ talked me into seeing "Master and Commander". Is Russell Crowe gay?

* Commentary on Josey Wales was pretty good, yes.
