Greenspan, Osama, and the Albanian Ponzi scheme
"Greenspan was considered a master," Tremonti declared. "Now we must ask ourselves whether he is not, after [Osama] bin Laden, the man who hurt America the most. "The system is collapsing, exactly like the Albanian pyramids collapsed." Ouchhh... Don't worry, says JJ, Freddie Mac will fix things up in no time. Sure, have some more ouzo.

"I was taught that the U.S.A. is the motherland of moneymaking," she added. "And now all I can see is a herd of headless chickens running around on Wall Street." This hurts. I can take the Euros saying Ricains are stoopid yahoos. But to be pitied for how badly the financial system is organized -- c'mon, JJ, all jokes aside, we need someone who knows what the hell he's doing, at least when it comes to the economy. You really want Palin running the Treasury, instead of Mitt?
More: the most serious risk of the current situation is that the interest of a few financiers will undermine the fundamental workings of the capitalist system. The time has come to save capitalism from the capitalists.
Mitt can run Treasury, AI. Because he can't run for anything and it's not an elected position.
Thanks for the Constitutional Law lesson, Dr. Bork. That said, the question remains -- do you think Mac & Pal would even know who to pick to run things, like, say, the Treasury? Or will they just rely on that over the hill fat guy from Texas, what's his name, Phil Gramm?
Gramm would be a good shot in the arm now. Who are your guys Obama and Biden suggesting at T?
My guys? What are you talking about? Ask Pepe. He'll nominate Krugman, for sure.
