The public schools I went to had greco-wrestling, hockey and football programs. I never partook in sports, however, the coaches, though nice, were often enough to discourage the kids from running the school as in Pepe's neighborhood.

I remember seeing an unruly 8th grader cock his fist back and threaten one particular wrestling coach. The coach smiled and calmly said, "I don't think you wanna do that..."
