Magistrates in Milan are questioning the [terrorism --JJ] suspects, who include outwardly respectable members of Italy’s biggest trade union, CGIL. Guglielmo Epifani, the CGIL leader, said he was “deeply alarmed” by the fact that the “nostalgic” ringleaders had been joined by five alleged accomplices aged under 30.

You sure it wasn't the former Italian PM's wife who put the hit out on her husband for making those flirtatious comments some months back? Italians tend to be rather emotional.
