OK, OK, but how can I warm up to the guy? He looks like dead man walking. Don't we need someone younger and dandier? Hmmmm... Didn't JJ propose Edwards?
Funny. Coulter may be the object of MFT's fluttering rage, but she had a point on Edw. BTW, the characterization of Romney as a Clinton with his pants on has resonated now last couple days. Thanks.
JJ, just the other day you were yap-yap-yapping about how important it was that the State sanctify marriage or Western Civilization would spin apart at the seams (starting in North Dakota). Amazing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. This could go on and on and on, but at some point we eventually have to go eat lunch.
It would depend on the tribe, but in these parts Mandan and Hidatsa practiced polygamy, although that's not to imply that all relations went smoothly.
Don't get too nostalgic about the upper Plains. There's always negative (or counterpoints) once you scrape away the superficial positives. Comparative. Relative. This state is filled with contradictions that are taboo to talk about -- for example, farmers voting Republican all the time while waiting for their Federal farm subsidies to roll in every year. It's just all very bizarre. I figure we gotta start somewhere if we're gonna sort through this muddle. Might as well nix the 1889 cohabitation law.

AI, maybe Rudy learned to strike that permanent pose while prosecuting the mafia?
