Planet Pepe Rejoices...
"In this sequence of still images taken from video and released by the U.S.-based IntelCenter, a U.S. government contractor that studies al-Qaida messaging. A man is seen placing explosives under a US military Bradley fighting vehicle that blew it up. The video was released on March 17, 2007, by the Islamic State of Iraq's (ISI) al-Furqan Media , according to IntelCenter. The arabic script at the bottom of the image top right reads: Destroying armored vehicle, Anbar province, Ramadi. (AP Photo/IntelCenter)"
Note how the labels for a post can both be "From Planet Pepe," and "What's Coming to Planet Pepe." Unfortunately, the Jihadist feces will hit the "pacifist" oscillating device in France.

For once, this is really placing Molotov cocktails under a tank -- an idea patented by the Hungarians when the Red Russkies came in with lotsa love in 1956.
Pretty dumb that our boys will fall for such an old trick. Don't they have some kind of vision devices and/or sensor to tell them that one of those Michael Mooresque "Minutemen" is trying to blow them up to smithereens? Of course, our military is too busy fencing off the pinko fifth columnists yapping at their feet to properly think of how to defend themselves, and kill those AQ types dead more effectively. Any of you guys have a constructive solution?
This was very strange, the photo, as infantry often accompany light and heavy armor. This is in any basic Pershing or Patton tank manual.
Hate to say it, and it's probably unfair, but this looks like a Darwin Award moment to me. That tank crew shoulda flunked out of school. Send in the pros!

repealing the first amendment perhaps?
Just like a Versaillian to think silencing the tongues of peasants is one's first priority.
i was paraphrasing ai of course. pulling out (after admitting that the military has achieved precious little and is unlikely to do any better in the future) is my preferred solution as you well know, and it isn't like the hawks are coming up with anything more efficient. the optional -and unlikely- admission is icing on the cake.
Just an addition to the litmus test, but after all Western and Eastern soldiers are removed from Iraq, then what would you have us do, Pepe? Seriously.
Pepe's Pavlovian reflexes are quite a sight to behold. Of course, I was thinking of better ways to train and equip our troops so as to defeat the enemy. In true Lefty fashion, all he can think is to yap at their heels. Sad.

if they could do that, one hopes they would have already done it.

terror is fought with good intelligence and police work, mft. migrating funds from where they are spent at pure loss to those areas which are designed to fight the problem is what makes sense to me.
