Steyn on Newspeak

Killing thousands of people in Manhattan skyscrapers in the name of Islam does, among a certain narrow-minded type of person, give Islam a bad name, and thus could be said to be “anti-Islamic” — in the same way that the Luftwaffe raining down death and destruction on Londoners during the Blitz was an “anti-German activity.” But I don’t recall even Neville Chamberlain explaining, as if to a five-year-old, that there is nothing German about the wish to terrorize and invade, and that this is entirely at odds with the core German values of sitting around eating huge sausages in beer gardens while wearing lederhosen.

I think the Koran is anti-Islamic by this definition. Steyn seems to be back on. He'd been boring the hell outta me lately.

Well, hard to keep it up in this line of business. You need fresh cosmic idiocies every week, and how do you get them, after a while? But the Brits and the Canucks labor mightily at providing him fresh material.

Good attitude, AI: Without the morons fronting their idiocies, they'd be a bit more elusive.

Nice logical conclusion, JJ. The Koran, and Allah, and Mohammad, are arguably anti-Islamic. I don't recall reading Steyn pointing that out in his article, or did he?

My bet is Steyn sure thought it. But, MFT, had he wrote it down in print he would have been put in the lead of the PC Death March, Canada and England Branches. Right now, he's facing enough courts in that regard.
In raw terms, Islam can either be truly a "Religion of Peace" or it can be a religion which declares The Message [Koran] and The Life [Sunna/Haditha] of Mohammed as the Perfect union of Theorie und Praxis. It cannot be both.
I say that, and my "atheist/secular" Islamic friends become no longer my friends.
Steyn says that, and he joins Geert Wilders and Hirsan Ali on the hit list.

I'mm sure he's on the list. They have the Net even though you may not.

Wel, I'm sure Steyn is on the "get to" list. Hirsan and Geert are on the "Whack 'em, and Whack 'em Now, by Fatwa's Fart!".
A useful rule of thumb to decide who is, or isn't, on the WeaWeNbyFF? They are under protective guard, or some DhimmiGov has made a splash by refusing to put them under protective guard.
This being post-Theo, natch.
