Anyone wanna bet?

I'll be a sport, and put $1 on this, at the current 12%-88% odds from Intrade. And guess who'll be the safe choice, then? Someone who was thoroughly vetted, and who has proved his mettle in the primaries. Any takers?

Thomas Eagleton was picked by George McGovern to be his running mate (with no vetting). After stuff happened, McGovern said he would back Eagleton “1000%”, but on August 1, Eagleton withdrew at McGovern's request and, after new search by McGovern, was replaced by Kennedy in-law Sargent Shriver. Aahhh, the memories...
