But will Gaddafi repeal the "Vendetta Against Italians Day" if Berlu gives him $5 billion in jizya? We'll see.

They're paying Kaddhafi to stop Africans from sailing from Libyan shores to Italy. No amount of money is too much.

OK, OK, got that. But I'll ask again -- why pay so much? Does he really need the money, when he sits on top of gazzilion barrels of oil? And, are you sure the protection money won't end up in the hands of the head-hackers?
