Wall Street backed Barack because they figured they could roll him. Righty-right.

True enough. And the point is?

The point is that I don't give a damn what the Wall Streeters want in DC. Those Dem cronies ought to be in jail (and the GOP ones too).

A lot of those gangsters oughta be in jail, for sure. Given they are not, and given that most gave money to Obama in 2008, but now are leaning towards putting their money on Romney as the most likely to win -- well, this must mean something. I'm not sure what, but what happened with your much vaunted adage, "You have to win"? Looks like you're the one pulling for Christine O'Donnell now...

Not at all. I am upset that the political system is incapable of producing a candidate that's worth a damn philosophically and can win.

I'm still angry at Sarah Palin for not continuing in her Governor's seat and building up for a serious run.
Let's face it, except for Reagan for 50 years the Repubs have produced either "strong philosophically who cannot win" [e.g. Goldwater] or "Establishment shithead who can only on occasion win but then only to make the world safe for the Left"
[Bush House, Dole, McCain, Nixon, Rockefeller, etc...]
RR was our Thatcher, and the Republs are led by those who yearn to be Tories.
The Dems, on the other hand, are in full Bukharin mode.
We're fucked, as ever. Like a Chritian pastor in Peperan.

Agree.

Romney is John Major.
