Obviously, Perry is better in this format (friendly reporter throwing softballs at him) -- who wouldn't be? Still, he manages several times to mangle basic logic. Eg, at the first question, he says something like, "we passed legislation barring driver licenses in the state of Texas".

Hello? No one drives in TX anymore? Well, OK, not Mr Rot, since he's given up on driving some 15-20 years ago. But really, then, what do they do down there? Travel on horseback? Or just aimlessly trundle through the desert, dragging an empty gallon jug of water?
