Planet Pepe is taking some hits
First, one of the Binnie Boyz is nabbed and sent to Gitmo (horrors!). Then, more head-hackers are grabbed in Iraq. And then, the Saudis foil yet another devilish plot hatched by what the Planeteers like to refer to as the "Minutemen" (or is it the "freedom fighters"?) Ah, well, win some, lose some. They don't get phased so easily in Versailles.

Wow, this is amazing: you've arrested someone. Surely this is a turning point.
It's a war of attrition -- a hard, long slog, as W called it. Last time the French knew what that meant is when the Poilus were duking it out with the Boches at Verdun, 90 years ago. By now, they wouldn't know what War means if it hit them in the face.

Indeed, and it's going nowhere.
they wouldn't know what War means if it hit them in the face
whereas you're happy to take it in the ass endlessly?
Its a bad day to be josh.
Man gotta do what man gotta do. It could be a 100 year war, for all I know. So what's the alternative -- the French Solution? (Ie, in case you miss that, abject surrender).
Welcome Elenam. Would you like to be a contrib?
Turns out that the Binnie Boy that was nabbed by the CIA last year and is now cooling his heels in Gitmo (much to the despair of the usual suspects) was the mastermind of the 7/7 bombings in London. I'm happy to see some measure of justice is done. Let the head-hackers' amen corner wring their hands -- I'll savor the moment, like I did when Zarky was sent to Hades to warm up.
The outcry over gitmo is not about this guy or zarky types, ai. It's about the plethora of poor suckers who haven't done anything other than being at the wrong place at the wrong time and weren't able to challenge their detention for years.
That's right. You don't know. So you need to give them their day in court - that's how you find out. Don't you know that ??????
Here's a story about 5 such people. I can dig out several others if you'd like, but I know there's a Canadian guy who's strangely still pissed of and now fighting in court. Typical non-turn-the-othe-cheek-type. Had it comin' if you ask me.
Of course not! Since when are military types trained to make a determination as to the guilt or innocence of anyone?
Certainly not back then, and even less these days when pretty much anyone is invited to join, no questions asked.
Lynne Stewart? I am just talking due process, man.
