Serb Mob Destroys U.S. Furniture

The protesters appeared to have been in the Embassy's consular building area, McCormack said. U.S. security officials and Marine guards were in a separate part of the compound, the chancery, but no staff were present at the Embassy, he said.

As noted by Robert Musil, if Mobists are as upset as they claim to be -- flailing in the street, throwing rocks, burning buildings -- then why are they often smiling?

Yes. They're about like muslims or something.

You think? I mean 9/11 is so far behind and how quickly we forget.

Just when you think Serbs belong in the trash can of humanity, they do something endearing.

Pepe, finally good to hear from you. I've recruited a good friend of mine to FCP and he contributes when he can. Also, another pal (the Mongolian chap I visited) said he'll try to get in and provide a bit more context to the blog. You should stick around, or poke your head in a bit more. Wasn't it Plato who always encouraged dialog? Nietzsche too, even though he typically was the party lurker.

Nice to have you back (go easy with the ideology, though, as it always damages logic).

What I'm saying is -- just because a country is full of jackasses, does it mean you tear it apart, and throw it to the wolves? Is there a paragraph about that in the UN Charter or somewhere?

fcp- the place where ideological considerations take the backseat to logic and the power of reason. Uh-huh.
