How's That for Marxist Theory?

Planet Pepe yearns to drown the American Dream in a Socialist Sea. The first to drown will be Lady Liberty.

"The right-wing propaganda machine will scream socialism, and that is also a good thing. Because the more socialism comes to be identified with real policies that raise the standard of living and improve the quality of life for the working class and the whole people, the more socialism will be looked at seriously. A stronger left that follows the tradition of the Communist Party in its unbreakable commitment to a socialist future and to educating people about the value and necessity of socialist policies in the present could follow."

Sounds good to me.

...but congratulations on the reference - for once, you aren't quoting the washington times or the ny post. The internet brings enlightening perspectives to the countryside.

Of course it sounds good to you. Just pointing out that your riff about Obama was hogwash, as you know yourself.
As for "references", fcp'ers study far more carefully the engines of the Left than the Left studies anything carefully [except for necessary manuals of seizing political power, on the local lines of "What is To Be Done"]. The internet brings very enlightening perspectives to the countryside.

that is probably true.

It should be pointed out to you in return that Markowitz is not the same person as Obama and that wishful thinking on his part is not equivalent to policy on Obama's.

Pepe ululates. And shows his colors, at long last. Surprise, surprise.

hum, ai, this is aa's reference, not mine.

So? It is Le Pew who ululates, not AA. Non sequiturs are so deeply ingrained in your "thought" that the question is do you even understant what a "sequitur" would be?

No shit, neither was Gus Hall nor William Ayers not Rev. Wright nor Matson etc.... the same person as Obama. Nor are you.
Wishful thinking is what Le Pew does when he decides to disregard a quarter century of consistent political action and opinion of one Barack Hussein Obama and instead leap at a comment in an interview as the true window into the guy's political soul. The same way your ancestral EuroSocist dhim-wits clutched to the NEP as "evidence" that Lenin wasn't serious about Communism [and chose to disregard the many acts of aggrandizement of central power, and violent attacks on "reactionary class structures"--all to a cool 7 million dead-- this same Lenin carried out in his "unserious" path to Communism].
Either you go by long verified reality, or you go with the whims of Madam Sosostra's tarot cards. Pepe likes his Death by Water.

Kerensky must have been the Pepean candidate at the time.
