Back to propeller-driven planes?

In the meantime, Spanish top dogs driving a Euno-weenie jet claim "to smash a formation of eight F-15s". Hmmm.... Sounds like braggadocio to me.

Well, the F 15s are 30 year old technology. So if the Typhoon is a recent product [I don't know this craft] then it certainl could have been engineered to outmaneuver a plane like the F15. There is a reason why we have new generations of fighters [well, until the Dems decided to kill 'em off].

As for the Brits going Prop, it has to be a joke.....right....right?

We could do a nice line in Zeppelins. Hand delivered bombs would bring back that personal touch to warfare. At least you could look your enemy in the eye instead of shooting him from 'over-the-horizon'.

F15: Most of our military equipment (with the exception of drones and latest smart bombs) I think dates to the glory days of Ronnie. We're just coasting on past glory. In the meantime, the world is moving...

As for the Brits, they are even in worse shape. Bring back the Spitfires!

F15 first flew in '72 or something, Tecs.

Yeah, though. Advance of technology is saddening too. I sure loved the P51 when my dad took me to see one up close. What a beaut.

OK, so in 30 years, the Euros can make a plane that out dogs the Eagle. I doubt that it can outclimb it.

Nice take-off! How about the F22 Raptor? Hasn't it been basically killed this year?

Dunno.
