All that is Pepe is Golden

She should keep clear who that is.

Actually, Israelis about now are probably getting that old Masada feeling about the world.
Just maybe they're estimating, and more precisely than Fermi, just how far away from support of Israel much of American political life, in particular the whole substance of the DemoPepe party, has moved. Just maybe they're understanding that Pepe is the future, and that Pepe is-- at best-- completely indifferent to their fate.
The past is prologue because the bastards of the past are gathering the future in their hands.
Both under the House of Bush, and other the House Pepe Built, a colossal mistake has been made. And it is one that has every potential of being fatal. The mistake is to embrace Islam as an essentially benign religion, with essential concord with the West as to the Nature of things [ be they of the mind or of the human spirit].
Islam is poison to any conception of existence which esteems life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It has been so since Mohammed, and it is so today.
Call her revolting, if you will. But then I would ask [ as you search for anything, anything at all, the writer wrote on our actions which in fact ain't so], why you think such debasement of who we are, at the hands of our government, is not worthy of revolt?

Taking your pronouncements as assumptions, what in the hell could the US have done to protect Israel then, and still be acting in its own interests, and not solely theirs?

I think it's only the bomb, Dmitry. The hydrogen bomb, that would do the trick. No one was prepared to do that, even in the bar I was in in Brockton, the only guys going that way were thugs.

The whole point of the article is OUR capitulation to Islam, OUR decision to begin to weave it into the fabric of our society, OUR embrace of it as a "First among not necessarily equals", OUR cowardice before its pressures and OUR stupidity in hoping that playing the dhimmi, subtle or unsubtle, would be a winning strategy for us.
We could have simply refused to do that, and we could have stood by our principles and not break them into something approvable by the Mecca set.
And that has nothing to do with the Hydrogen Bomb, Dmitry.

What then? Seems that the only way is to turn enough of them Western-acting to push the remaining radicals out.

Alternative is to kill them all.

No, between letting the Trojan Horse, with fanfare and trumpets, into the Citadel, giving those inside the keys to the city and the best place at the table, .....or your alternative of "killing them all" ... there are many options.
Beginning with something as simple as keeping true to ourselves, and it is they, not us, who must accomodate to the society they have freely chosen to live in.

While Rot ruminates on what to do (or, most likely, not to do), Pepea churns its wheels. And spits in our collective face.

That sounds touchy-feelier than Weinberger's Psych major girlfriend that couldn't tell he was a wacko.

Exactly which citadel are you talking about? The US isn't a citadel, though you and Tecs seem to wish all cops were Leavenworth guards.

Hey, Herr Rott. Let me spell it out for you real genteel like, nice and slow.
Example: If an American soldier holds the Koran and gets mud on it he is charged with an article. If he uses the pages of the Bible to wipe his butt, no problemo.
This is the dhimmi way.
What should it be? Both our free to wipe their butt with whatever they want, for the comfort of their toilet as best they judge, and fuck the source of that paper.
Capisce?

Of course. That is all bullshit, but it isn't a real threat any more than it's a threat to our culture that the N word is to be used only by blacks.

The Israeli woman is not worried about PC speech codes, she's worried about Palis coming in and killing all the civilized people in the neighborhood.

That's too airy-fairy for me. Just because we don't all care deeply for one religion or the other, I don't see how it matters to Israelis how we feel.

I don't like the Jewish religion much at all. Christ is the one that said something with some real content, not Maimonides.

We are in Israel for our interests, as it should be, and if and when those interests cease to be, then that's it. We don't owe them any more than they owe us, really.

Culturally we owe a lot more to the Greeks than we do to the Hebrews, but no one much feels affection for them these days...at least I don't.
