I don't have a problem with the flag being burned, Pepe. The problem I do have, however, is who owned the flag? The story suggested that it was government property. They stole and destroyed something that didn't belong to them.
And the flag burnists might have violated city ordinance fire code.
Otherwise, if anyone wants to burn a flag -- American or otherwise -- go ahead. My Yankee patriotism is thicker than cloth.
Note: I think this is the third time we've ever agreed on anything. Mark this momentous occassion on your calendar, and we'll rain-check a celebratory beer.
As with anything, it depends on your taste buds. By that I mean do you like ale, or dark or wheat beers? A Montana outfit makes what's called Moose Drool, and that's pretty good for dark brew and ales. There's a good wheat beer out of Kansas made by Boulevard. And this far north we start getting into Canukistan imports. JJ mentioned Sleeman's at one point in time. They offer several varieties. If you come across it, I recommend it. Not highly. But I do recommend it.
Then there's Colorado... it seems like there's a micro-brewery on every other block in Denver.
You guys are full of it about these pampered Yalie cunts. The foreigners should be thrown out. That was the porch of a private house (according to Taranto and the New Haven Register today).
JJ, upon a re-examination of my first post, you'll see that that's exactly what I argued. If the flag didn't belong to them, if they stole it, then throw their asses in JAIL. Or deport them. Case closed.
Here's what Taranto reported (taken from JJ's link just above), intimating what Pepe and I already agreed on:
...according to U.S. News--three students have been charged with "first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree arson, breach of peace, and conspiracy to commit second-degree arson"

good idea. we should make it a good brand too as it'll probably take another few years before the next 3.

That's an optimistic time-frame.
But yes, we'll find a Fullers, or a good regional microbrew. What's good in your neighborhood?
nothing really: people like abita pale ale but it has to have been manufactured with horse piss.
Anything decent in the plains?

Being Yalies should be enough to make 'em suspicious characters
That's true too, AA. At least Yale could put up a fence to keep their Yalies within the compound.

Read the New Haven paper too. There's little leeway here.
