Note that his pardner was Ludwig Ritter von Höhnel, Lieutenant in the Austro-Hungarian Navy. Now, what kind of ships do they have in Austria and Hungary -- besides those that waltz up and down the Blue Danube?

Don't drink the Lake Turkana water. Perhaps the Austro-Hungarians had a boat that could float that.
