Wild Dakota West returns (quietly)....

(the pic is of Teddy Roosevelt. JJ, have you had enough time to get familiar with the BULLY! president and frontiersman?)

COME ON UP FOR A VISIT, PEPE! DON'T WORRY ABOUT KNOCKING: JUST COME ON IN!

Neat. I'd never heard of anything like 'duty to retreat' or its negation. I do appreciate the mindset that accepts the justice of this (i.e. dumping the duty to retreat) legal arrangement. It's certainly more in line with my Darwinian views on what in society is to be amplified and what is to be attenuated.
Good for NDak. I don't see this as a return to the Wild West. I see it as a return to personal responsibility and the abortion of the nanny state.

In many ways, that's exactly what the Wild West was.

Nah. There was a lot of Christian dogooderism around, too. Of course I get my historical background on topic from Mel Brooks' "Blazing Saddles".
