So the NYT can't get enough sales, and now they offer Brooks (and everything else) on the web for free.
Here's an astute observation:
Two themes ran through his speech. First, the tragic ironies of history — the need to compromise with evil in order to do good. And second, patience — the need to wait as democratic reforms slowly develop.
Both are crucial. Doesn't seem like some members of Congress are interested in patience, though. Everything now-now-now or else.
