Rewarding cosmic idiocy

Lehman Brothers ``key'' money managers will get retention bonuses valued at $400 million when their investment-management business is bought by Bain Capital -- for those of you who are not up on things, that's Mitt's baby. So he now buys a piece of Lehman at firesale price -- why not. But give away those huge bonuses to the dastardly idiots who brought this meltdown about? Tar and feather should be too good for them -- Ft. Leavenworth more like it. I'm disappointed in Mitt.

Rudy drops a hint

Wink, wink. How about Lieberman at State and Rudy at Justice. In the unlikely even that Mitt doesn't get the VP nod, he would be good at Treasury. Now, of course, there is that little matter of winning 270 Electoral College votes...

Nothing Wrong With Mitt's Religion...

JJ, what gives?

A search warrant authorized [Texas] troopers to enter the retreat [around Eldorado], run by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They are looking for evidence of a marriage between the [teenage] girl and a 50-year-old man.

Just give yourself up, JJ. We can work this out peacefully.

Throwing the kitchen sink at Mitt

Some guy, channeling JJ; Romney is the most liberal of all the presidential candidates, including Democrats Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Ok, Ok, whatever.

Mitt for Veep!

Romney has allies in the Bush wing of the Republican party. President Bush favors him as McCain's veep. Jeb Bush, the former Florida governor, preferred Romney over McCain in the primaries, but never endorsed him publicly. Karl Rove, the president's political strategist, has hinted that he considers Romney to be McCain's best running mate. Powww! Counterpoint: Kristol. Ergh!

Mormons in Mongolia; or Mongol Mormons

Mitt Romney running for president, even though he suspended his campaign, is probably one of the better things to happen for the Mormon Church, to get people talking about the Church's history, its current creed, and stuff of that sort.

With that said, here's a picture of what the Mormon Church looks like in Ulaan Bataar. Well, at least what it looks like at night.
