Of course, Mr Rot thinks Roberts is smaaaart

And so the conservatives handed him their own message which, as one justice put it, essentially translated into, "You're on your own." The conservatives refused to join any aspect of his opinion, including sections with which they agreed, such as his analysis imposing limits on Congress' power under the Commerce Clause. Instead, the four joined forces and crafted a highly unusual, unsigned joint dissent. They deliberately ignored Roberts' decision, the sources said, as if they were no longer even willing to engage with him in debate.

On Pepe's dime

Charly's tax euros hard at work. Finally, finally, some good use comes of it, by letting the Nanny State take care of moi. Though, I must say, I was totally underwhelmed by the TGV--supposedly the crown jewel of Frenchie technology. Unlike the lowliest Greyhound bus on a dingy run to Albany, this train has no WiFi--the horror, the horror! I mean, duh -- when will Charly pay up to install free WiFi everywhere? It's a basic human right, no? And, to add insult to injury, there was no juice in those Frenchie plugs. The TGV guy says it's due to an electrical malfunction. Man, oh, man. Charly, I think this is what happens when you don't pay enough taxes. I'm waiting for Dutch to increase your tax rate to 75%, and then perhaps -- perhaps -- they'll figure out how to get current flowing in those fancy choo-choo trains.

Krikorian sucker-punches Mr Rot

It’s hardly surprising that Newt would support amnesty for illegal aliens. After the Pelosi global-warming ad and Dede Scozzafava and “right-wing social engineering,” is it any surprise he’d adopt the left’s line on immigration too? He earned a career grade of D from Numbers USA (they calculate back to 1989). Heck, even Barbara Boxer has a career grade of D+.
