Why JJ is chasing dem mountain goats
Hiking and climbing mountains is better than sex. When you pull yourself up onto a summit -- and climax, so to speak -- the sheer physicality, beauty and endurance are like no other feeling on earth, he explains.

New Sins...
...and only to reiterate the point — or "my" point, if I was going to be an asshole — that Christians are instructed to be good stewards of the land. See the new one below:
Thou shall not pollute the Earth.

The view from Canuckia
It was the women who put Trudeau in power, and kept him there: the women’s vote in English Canada, plus the Liberal fiefdom in Quebec. It is the ditzier range of women in the borderline Red States that could elect President Obama: lonely women, and to some extent, their weak, “sensitive” men. What is ditz? Canuck for Paris Hilton??

Walmart Continues to Avoid Neurotoxins

There are a couple different hues with the Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs (hereafter CFLs). I've taken to the more traditional light bulb hue when purchasing CFLs, and I enjoy how they gradually "warm" a room from the time they are first turned on to about a minute later.
Two-to-four milligrams of mercury is required in each CFL bulb. And this author credits Walmart with reducing it to 2 milligrams. After sucking in the smog for a month in Ulaan Bataar, I tend to side with spreading this kind of technology. The smog coupled with the secondhand smoke induced a nasty sinus infection that I'm just getting over, but I've found a bit of relief in verbally abusing the Mormon Church.
