Out of Brownsville, Tejas

Greater Mexico is an Imploding Universe, hence
Greater Matamoros is an Expanding Universe?

It is a bit odd why D.C. doesn't (or hasn't) paid much more attention to our Western bretheren in Central America. And I don't mean this in the military invasion kind of vein. Culturally, Mexico seems to have closer ties with Old World sensibilities: close family ties, but also close nepotism ties, too. And when you get nepotism, you get, ahem, Nobility. And when you get Nobility, sometimes you get literary works by Laurence Sterne, but more often you get Politicos more corrupt than anything D.C. could ever conjur up.

Still, there should be better relations between Mexico and the U.S. How many times have I said, "I should really go meet my neighbor, maybe bring over a six pack and get to know them..." At some point I'll have to act.

Make sure it's Dos Equis, or Tecate. Mexicans hate the stronger darker brews, and hate even more the messengers who carry them such brews. :)

Well, I'll keep the Moose Drool at home, and bring down some lager.
